Challenges we can face together
Young women often come to me with a range of worries and feelings, and it's my hope to help you navigate these.
My approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything I do reflects my commitment to your wellbeing.
I am an Integrative counsellor which means that I draw upon person-centred, cognitive behavioural and psycho-dynamic theory, tailoring my approach to you and your needs. I am also solution-focused which means that, as well as focusing on the problems and concerns you would like to talk through, I believe it also important to explore your strengths and what has kept you resilient through difficult times.
I am interested in how our past has an impact on the present and, therefore, how our present will impact on the future. By gaining an understanding of how our experiences shape us, we can recognise where unhelpful thinking patterns and beliefs may stem from and then have the knowledge and techniques to make positive changes for the future.
Anxiety & low mood
We can explore feelings of anxiety, persistent low mood, and worries that impact your daily life, working towards strategies for greater peace.
Relationships & self-identity
From friendship and romantic relationship concerns to family conflicts and questions about self-identity, we'll work through understanding your connections and who you are in relation to others.
Life transitions & struggles
Coping with bereavement, managing academic pressures, or navigating other life struggles can feel overwhelming. I'm here to offer support and guidance.
A space just for you
My approach is trauma-informed, person-centred and non-judgemental, creating a safe and supportive environment for young adults, including those who are neurodivergent. I'll work at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you.
